ABOUT
Gizeh Records is an independent / DIY label based in Leeds, England. Initially set‐up by Glissando member Richard Knox to self‐release selected hand‐packaged limited CDr's the label has evolved and progressed naturally over the years. Now home to artists such as A-Sun Amissa, FareWell Poetry, Conquering Animal Sound, Sleepingdog, Richard Knox & Frederic D. Oberland, Glissando and Fieldhead, Gizeh is now focussed on releasing records of ambient beauty whilst retaining the strong DIY ethics that have been prominent in the labels success to date.

There is a strong sense of community running through Gizeh with artists frequently sharing stages and musicians sharing bands and projects together. The collective ideal is something that will remain an integral part of Gizeh in the years to come and indeed expand on to continue creating the sounds and feelings associated with the label today.

DEMO  POLICY
In these moments of little time we have devised a system where by you can send us your music via soundcloud. Simply upload your track to the dropbox.. very easy. PLEASE do not submit more than two tracks.

We will endeavor to listen to everything that comes through and of course if we like what we hear we'll be in touch. Our favorite tracks will be featured on this page at some stage in the future. We do still enjoy getting CD’s through the post, it takes a bit more effort but it’s a much better reflection of you as a band/artist. Please only send CD's if you REALLY think we will like what you are creating.
