 CONQUERING ANIMAL SOUND Conquering Animal Sound is made up of Anneke Kampman and James Scott, residents of Glasgow, UK. 2011 saw the release of their critically acclaimed debut album 'Kammerspiel' - a wonderful dark-pop record full of distorted beats, beautiful vocal melodies, tape hiss and children's toys. Most of 2011 for the duo was spent on the road with three UK tours, two European tours and a host of festivals along the way. Conquering Animal Sound are also an astounding live proposition. Performing the majority of the recorded output live using loops and live samples to build the songs from their roots before the intricate melodies slowly unfold. Both Anneke and James have projects beyond CAS in the shape of ANAK-ANAK and Japanese War Effort. Early 2012 for the duo will be spent working on material for the follow-up to 'Kammerspiel'.
