About Gizeh: Gizeh is a friendly little label based in Leeds, UK putting out some beautiful records by some beautiful bands. Created in 2003 by Richard Knox of the band Glissando, initially simply to release Glissando CDr’s, the label has developing progressively over the years. We're about as DIY as you can get... everyone involved with the label plays in bands on the label, we do our own PR, we put on shows and try to be as good as we can be at all these things. We love receiving lavishly packaged CDs through the post, going to shows and meeting as many nice folk as possible. Please believe! Demo policy: We do enjoy getting CD’s with lovely packaging through the post, it takes a bit more effort but it’s a much better reflection of you as a band/artist. Please - no more trash/goth/death/nu-metal CD’s.... take the time to check out our current roster to see what we like or check our Last FM page even. Feel free to email ahead and ask if it’s worthwhile, you could save yourself a bit of time/money. Even though we are not actively looking for new additions at the moment we do put on shows in Leeds and have plenty of hook-ups elsewhere so if we like your music there are plenty of options!
